Compare Two Jobs

ONS ASHE 2025 (provisional) · BLS OES May 2025

Why compare salaries?

Two job titles can sound similar and pay very differently — or the same title can pay wildly different amounts depending on where you work and how experienced you are. This tool lets you put two occupations side by side using the same official government data behind every page on this site, so you're comparing on equal terms rather than guessing from job-ad headlines.

Data: ONS ASHE 2025 (provisional) · BLS OES May 2025 — refreshed once a year when new ASHE/OES releases publish. Regional and state figures use each area's own published median where ONS/BLS supply enough sample size to report one; if a specific region/job combination isn't published, the national figure is shown instead with a note. Percentile bands are national only — ONS/BLS don't publish region-by-percentile breakdowns at this level of detail, so switching location keeps the percentile figure at the national level even while the median narrows to that region.
